Kayley started fencing when she was eight years old through introductory classes at a local fencing club in Campbell. Already playing two other sports, fencing first began as a hobby. Over time, her love for fencing grew and she shifted to being a competitive fencer at ten years old. Kayley has competed at local, regional, super regional, national, and international fencing tournaments during the past eight years, traveling to over 15 U.S. states to compete. She has placed top 8 in both national and international competitions, and is a nationally ranked fencer. Through her career, Kayley gained valuable skills in managing stress, problem solving, and adapting to challenges that help her school and daily life. She hopes to spread fencing to a wider audience so that they have the opportunity to experience the beneficial skills it brings.
